It's the most wonderful time of the year

Reasons why I love 2011:
- Turning 21
- Getting into college(s)
- Getting my weekends back (after working a year of Sat/Sun 7 am shift)
- I spent the year (mostly) single
- Learning to be a clean freak
- Enjoying cooking again
- Becoming passionate about scrapbooking

Reasons why I hated 2011:
- Turning 21 (my liver has officially been decimated)
- Not actually going to the college(s) I got into

Goals for 2012:
- Get into college(s) again
- Train for the Zombie apocalypse (this is in no way me trying to be Zooey Deschanel cute/quirky, I'm dead serious)
- Swear Less

People need to write more. Write in a journal or letters, but write with their actual hands. Typing is efficient but it is in no way is as personal as writing with a pen on a piece of paper. It's why every year I make a list of the most important people in my life, sit down, and hand write personalized holiday cards. I know these cards mean more to me than they do to my friends/family, but I hope they see the effort and love I poured into their damn card. I'm not going to lie, writing 16 holiday cards is emotionally exhausting. Especially since I pour my heart and soul into them, they say everything I wish I had said throughout the year. Anyways, if I ever write you a card it means I care. A lot.
